Questions & Answers about the Wine Club

General Wine Club Questions:

Question: How do I log into my account?

Answer: Members can log into their account by going to our website, www.ranchocapistranowinery.com. under "WINE CLUB" click on the button, towards the bottom on the page that says "Already a member" You can also click this link MEMBER LOGIN

  • Your username is the email address used when you initially signed up for the wine club
  • You will need to set up your password before you are able to log in.
  • On the login home page, click "forgot password," and it will send you an email with your temporary password and then you can sign in and set up your permanent password (Under MY ACCOUNT).

Question: How do I update credit card information?

Answer: Once you have logged into your account, click on "MY ACCOUNT" located on the top right hand corner on the page. You can update your billing address, credit card information, and switch between club categories; RED, MIXED, or WHITE. 

Question: How do I cancel my membership?

Answer: As long as a member has had an active membership for six consecutive months, there is no fee to cancel. If a member has had an active membership for fewer than six consecutive months, there is a $50.00 cancellation fee.  All cancellations must be done in writing; either emailed to wineclub@ranchocapistranowinery.com, or by filling out a cancellation form in person. Forms do need to be filled out completely.

Questions about Pickup Party:

Question: When are the pickup parties held?

Answer: Pickup parties are held on the first and third Tuesday of every month  from 6:00pm-8:00pm (subject to change and availability).

Question: Can I bring friends that are non-members?

Answer: Yes! A member may bring one complimentary guest. Each additional guests is $15/person. 

Question: Is this event kid friendly?

Answer: No, all guests must be 21+ or older! Unfortunately, we are not able to make any exceptions. 

Question: What is included in the party?

Answer: Each member that has RSVP'd will receive a ticket at the door. Tickets are used to redeem tastings of that month's wine releases and a complimentary glass of wine. Rancho Capistrano Winery provides some light stationed appetizers and live music for members to enjoy. Members will also be able to pickup their current wine shipment with valid ID. 

Question: Do I have to attend a pickup party to pick up my wine? 

Answer: No! Members are not limited to picking up their club bottles during the pickup parties. Rancho Capistrano Winery does not get the club shipment in until the first pickup party, held on the first Tuesday of the current month. Members can pickup their current bottles at anytime after the first pickup party, with a valid ID. We do strongly recommend picking up your club bottles Monday-Friday, between 11:00am-5:00pm. 

Question: How do I RSVP?

Answer: You can RSVP online or in-person. You will get a confirmation email once you have been added. If you do not receive a confirmation email, something may have gone wrong!

Question: How many tickets does a wine club member get to the pick up party per month?

Answer: Members get 1 complimentary ticket for themselves and 1 complimentary ticket for a guest per month. Additional guests are $15. If you wish to attend the second party as well, and space is available, there will be a $15/person charge.

Question: If I have already RSVP'd for a party and can't make it, how do I cancel?

Answer: Please email us at wineclub@ranchocapistranowinery.com or let a staff member know 48 hours prior to event date if you are not able to make it. If no notice is given, tickets will be redeemed as member's complimentary ticket for that month.

Question: If I have already attended a pickup party, can I go as my friends guest for free?

Answer: Members do not qualify as a guest under another members complimentary ticket. If a member would like to attend a second party, there would be a $15 charge.
